Project VietNam received Congressional Recognition Award

At the Meeting on Sunday January 11, 2004  Project Vietnam received a Congressional Recognition Award from Congressman Ed Royce on the House International Relations Committee.

We could not have achieved what we have without your contribution and humanitarian spirit. Project Vietnam also received a Congressional Recognition by Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez and a California Legislature award by Assemblyman Lou Correa for humanitarian work in Vietnam. 

We had an audience of over 120, who enjoyed the movie produced by James Brennan, Project Vietnam Pharmacy team leader. It captured deeply moving moments of the Medical Mission 2003 involving patients and their families (the marvel of post-surgery transformation!), and work at the rural clinics & schools. Truly food for the soul...

¨       January 8, 2006 3-6PM: Project Vietnam General Meeting in Westminster, California

¨       January 6, 2006: deadline for applications to the Spring Medical trip with $200 non-refundable deposit

¨       January 20, 2006: balance of Spring trip cost due.

¨       February 28-March 12, 2006: Spring Medical Mission trip Training courses for Newborn care Initiative. Surgical work at Hai Duong General Hospital with Pediatric Ophthalmology team. Injury Prevention pilot project at Thanh Mien District, Hai Duong province

¨       January – August 2006: Research & Training trip at pilot sites, Hanoi, HCM & surroundings

¨       July 2, 2006 3-6PM: Project Vietnam General Meeting in Westminster, California

¨       July 15, 2006: deadline for applications to the Fall Medical trip with $200 non-refundable deposit

¨       August 25, 2006: airfare payment

¨       September 15, 2006: balance of Fall trip cost due.

¨       October 27-November 11, 2006: Fall Medical Mission trip

Training at School of Medicine & hospitals in HochiMinh city, Hanoi and Vietnam Children’s Hospitals
Medical Mission team working at a needy province (primary care  and training activities)

 Project Vietnam will not be bringing a large surgical team to Vietnam in 2006. The full Medical Mission with Surgery, Primary Care and Training teams will occur March 2-18, 2007.
